Prior to September 2010, from December 2004, it was owned by 18 members of the S&DRHT, one of whom was also myself.
Before December 2004, it is believed to have been owned by a Yeovil group called the Somerset & Dorset Locomotive Owners. (Please correct me if I am wrong). At the time of sale, it was in the early process of restoration at Tyseley but not in working order.
7109's precise ownership and locations are unknown before that time although ownership is thought to include the Industrial Locomotive Society, the Shropshire Collection and Carnforth.
Its original place of work was Croydon Gas and Electricity Works where it was used from early 1928 to 1960. In 1968 it was transferred to the Bressingham collection.
Comments welcome if more precise ownership dates are known (please).
